Please read my terms of service below before making a booking.

Terms of Service

Welcome to Erika & Her Kraft! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the agreement between Erika & Her Kraft ("we," "us," or "our") and the customer ("you" or "your") for craft sessions, activities, and related services. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Booking and Payments

1.1 Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and confirm the date of your session. This deposit guarantees your selected date and covers administrative and preparatory costs.

1.2 Final Payment: The remaining balance is due within 7 days after the date of delivery or completion of services. Failure to make payment within this period may result in additional fees or cancellation of future bookings.

1.3 Rescheduling: If you decide not to proceed with the booking on the originally chosen date, your deposit will be forfeited. However, we are happy to assist in checking availability for alternative dates.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellations must be communicated in writing (e.g., via email).

2.2 Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations or no-shows.

2.3 a. CRAFT WORKSHOPS - For cancellations made less than 14 days before the session date, you will still be liable for the full cost associated with your booking. You will be required to make payment within 7 days of the original date of delivery.

2.3 b. WINDOW DRAWINGS - For cancellations made less than 30 days before the start date of works, you will still be liable for the full cost associated with your booking and you will be required to make payment within 7 days of the start date. The number of window drawings will be finalised ~40 days prior to the start date, after this point, the number cannot be reduced.

3. Liability and Safety

3.1 Supervision of Children: All children participating in craft sessions must be supervised by their parent, guardian, or caregiver at all times. We are not responsible for providing childcare or monitoring children during sessions.

3.2 Injuries: Erika & Her Kraft is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages sustained during or as a result of craft sessions, including but not limited to the use of materials, tools, or equipment provided.

3.3 Material Safety: While we take care to ensure that all materials used in craft sessions are safe and appropriate, participants assume full responsibility for their use.

4. General Policies

4.1 Changes to Services: We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to services, materials, or session structures as necessary to ensure the quality and safety of the experience.

4.2 Force Majeure: Erika & Her Kraft is not responsible for cancellations or rescheduling caused by events outside of our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances.

4.3 Privacy: Personal information collected for bookings will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and will not be shared without your consent.

5. Service-Specific Terms

5.1 Window Drawings and Activations:

  • The client must ensure the surface area for window drawings is clean, free of debris, and ready for use upon arrival. Additional charges may apply for surface preparation if required.

  • Erika & Her Kraft is not responsible for damage to window surfaces or existing treatments (e.g., tinting or fragile coatings) during the service.

5.2 Craft Session Requirements:

  • A suitable space must be provided for the craft session, including adequate seating, lighting, and workspace for all participants.

  • If outdoor setups are required, the client is responsible for ensuring weather-appropriate arrangements.

5.3 Murals:

  • Quotes: All mural quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. If not accepted within this timeframe, Erika & Her Kraft reserves the right to revise the quote based on material or scheduling changes. Final pricing may vary based on the condition and accessibility of the site. Where necessary, a preliminary site visit may be required before confirming a final quote.

  • Deposit: A design fee is required as a non-refundable deposit before any design work commences. There is a limit to the number of revisions that are permitted in the design process, this and the design fee amount will be agreed upon during the quoting process.

  • Design Approval: All mural designs will be shared with the client for approval prior to the commencement of work. Once approved, significant alterations may incur extra charges and impact the timeline.

  • Payment: Upon approval of the mural design, the booking is deemed confirmed, and the client agrees to proceed with the work as outlined in the provided quote. Should the client choose not to proceed after this point, full payment will still be required. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the completion of the mural.

  • Schedule: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary permits, approvals, and site access are secured by the agreed start date. If Erika & Her Kraft is unable to commence work due to delays in access or permissions, additional charges may apply and the project may be rescheduled based on availability.

  • Damage and Wear: Erika & Her Kraft is not liable for natural wear and tear, vandalism, or environmental damage affecting the mural after completion.

  • Intellectual Property: All mural designs remain the intellectual property of Erika & Her Kraft unless explicitly transferred in writing. Reproduction of the design without written consent is prohibited.

  • Final Inspection and Sign-Off: Upon completion, a final inspection will be conducted with the customer (or their representative). Any concerns must be raised within 48 hours. After this, the project will be considered complete.

  • Branding or Signature: Erika & Her Kraft reserves the right to discreetly sign the mural and/or include a small brand mark unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Community or Public Wall Agreements: For public or community-facing murals, the client must ensure all council approvals, community permissions, and location rights are in place prior to commencement.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Design Ownership: All designs, artwork, and creations produced by Erika & Her Kraft during craft sessions, activations or murals remain the intellectual property of Erika & Her Kraft unless explicitly transferred to the client in writing.
6.2 Use of Materials: Clients are prohibited from reproducing, selling, or distributing Erika & Her Kraft’s designs or craft templates without prior written consent.

7. Travel and Additional Fees

7.1 Travel Policy: Travel fees may apply for services provided outside a designated radius of Hurstbridge. These fees will be disclosed at the time of booking.
7.2 Additional Costs: Any additional materials or custom requests outside the standard service scope may incur extra charges, which will be discussed and agreed upon before the service date.

8. Client Responsibilities

8.1 Permits and Permissions: If a service requires permissions (e.g., public window installations or activations on private property), it is the client’s responsibility to secure all necessary permits prior to the service date.
8.2 Damage Liability: Erika & Her Kraft is not responsible for any damages to property caused by participants or other external factors during craft sessions or activations.

9. Media and Marketing

9.1 Photography and Videography: Erika & Her Kraft reserves the right to photograph or record the setup, sessions, or completed work for promotional purposes unless explicitly requested otherwise by the client in writing.
9.2 Client Media Use: If clients wish to share images of the work on social media or other platforms, credit to Erika & Her Kraft is appreciated.
